46th C. Rodger Wilson leadership conference

The 46th C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference planning team is thrilled to share some exciting changes for this year’s Conference being hosted jointly by the Baton Rouge (LA) Alumni, Alpha Sigma and Nu Iota chapters! The 28th Province Polemarch, C. Jerome Brown, will also share FUND: Fraternity, Undergraduates, Networking, and Development as the province’s administrative focus.

As we prepare and gear up for the weekend of October 3-5th, the format has been revamped with you in mind to enhance your knowledge and provide valuable opportunities for personal development.

New Format Highlights:

Panel Discussions:
We are introducing panel discussions featuring distinguished business community partners from the Baton Rouge area. These sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including entrepreneurship, leadership, career development, and health. It is a chance to learn from seasoned professionals and gain insights into our fraternity’s core values.

Training Opportunities:
Our commitment to “Training for Leadership” remains at the forefront. Whether you’re a seasoned Kappa or just starting your journey, there’s something for everyone.
Workshops will cover professional aspects of leadership, chapter organization, health and more. Stay tuned for the detailed schedule!

Officer Training:
Chapter management is vital to ensure our fraternity success. Our officers will receive in person training and eventually online to accommodate busy schedules and promote accessibility, Polemarch, Keeper of Records and Keeper of Exchequer officer workshops will be produced by Grand Chapter in the near future.

As part of our annual certification process, the following officers must be registered for the conference: Polemarch, Vice Polemarch, Keeper of Records, Keeper of Exchequer, Membership Training Academy Chairman and Chapter Advisor.

 New Initiates: All new initiates from the Fall '23 and Spring '24 MTA WHO PLAN TO ATTEND MUST register using the New Initiate Pre-Paid selection before the Early rate deadline of August 10th.  There will be a late fee assessed afterwards if a new initiate has not registered by then.  There will not be any on-site registration.
